We are a global electronics trading company seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in accounts payable and be interested in a fast-paced, team-oriented working environment.
Job Highlights:
- Process high-volume vendor payments and resolve invoice inquiries
- Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the finance function
Responsibilities:
- Process and approve electronic payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct vendor reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies to balance all accounts.
- Monitor vendor accounts payable aging reports and process payments efficiently.
- Generate and analyze various accounting reports to summarize accounts payable activities and status.
- To facilitate efficient transactions and serve as a critical liaison between vendors, our purchasing team, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to procurement and payments.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable processes through automation and team collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in generally accepted accounting principles.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an accounts payable role
- Proficiency in accounting software like Oracle, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
- Strong data entry and numerical skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solve complex challenges to resolve vendor payment issues
- Stable work history and ability to thrive within a team
