We are open recruitment and happily inform you that we are looking for candidates to fill the position of Receptionist in our company, South China Morning Post Publishers Ltd. For candidates who reside in Causeway Bay and its neighboring regions, we are looking for you to be a part of us and work in our company office, and able to labor under a full time system.

We have specific requirements for each of our employees as well as potential workers, because we are a professional and knowledgeable business in the field we work in. We are interested in hearing from you as soon as possible if you have expertise in the fields and possess a Postgraduate or higher.

We offer you a fairly competitive salary that can be adjusted depending on the credibility you can contribute to our company. It typically ranges from HK$14,000 - HK$43,000 and likely to change at any time. This salary negotiation must be agreed based on our company's HRD agreement.

In this role, you will: 

  • Handle incoming calls, all-round operations of the reception desk and assist with front desk clerical works. 
  • To handle general administrative duties including office supplies, repair and maintenance, payment procurement, and other routine administration functions.
  • Receive and direct incoming documents and correspondence.
  • Manage meeting room and social hub bookings and subsequent coordination works with various departments for room setup.
  • Handle and co-ordinate any request to FM-support.
  • Office decoration during the festival.
  • Handling ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • Form 7 or above
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a sizable company with at least 3 years at supervisory level; experience in the media industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Strong PC Skills, well-versed in G-Suite
  • Pleasant, multi-tasking, good telephone manner, excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 
  • Adaptable, pro-active and willing to learn, can work under pressure to meet tight schedule

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
