Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide support to the project of “Study of the next generation of student information systems”;

(b) provide user support to current systems including the case management platform (ZohoDesk) and website live chat (Zoho SalesIQ);

(c) lead the streamlining and automation for the operations of student visa matters;

(d) manage new system projects on student information systems, student administration and services automation;

(e) perform business analysis and user requirement studies, assist in streamlining operational processes, and develop system functions and features;

(f) liaise with business users, vendors and internal IT team to ensure smooth delivery of projects;

(g) support new project implementation activities such as system configuration, training, user acceptance testing, and user support, etc.;

(h) prepare documentation such as standard operating procedures, functional specifications, user guides, etc.; and

(i) perform any other duties as assigned by the Registrar or his delegates.

ualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines;

(b) at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in the higher education sector;

(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

(d) excellent skills in data processing and analytics, workflow management, business analysis and project management;

(e) experience in database, ERP solutions and system integration projects;

(f) a proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a mentality of embracing new technologies; and

(g) good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a good team player.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
