Swire Coca-Cola is looking for a high caliber individual to take up the Procurement Manager, Transformation & ASEAN Sourcing position under Procurement Department.
This role reports to Senior Manager, Procurement Projects & Transformation.
The job holder is responsible for developing sustainable supplies and procurement strategy for effective and efficient sourcing and analytics in the global procurement COE organization, to deliver value added guidance to regional bottlers on strategic and tactical collaborative event and facilitating ONE system procurement procedures & category management protocol to be aligned with the company business objective.
He / She will lead extended local team(s) to execute procurement digital transformation strategy and tactical operating procedures to be applicable for Chinese Mainland, South East Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan & US operations to ensure they are fully integrated with Swire Coca-Cola Ltd and China Bottlers Procurement Consortium (CBPC) business objectives, to achieve proper governance, competitive advantages through strategic procurement initiatives and routine.
The job is also the key mastermind to recommend regional strategic supplier relationship management supported by bottlers’ procurement stakeholders.
Job Description
- Execute according to the roadmap on Indirect/direct materials to achieve spend optimization and process enhancement to maximize system value. Setting up long term sustainable supply and procurement strategy to deliver value added suppliers productivity improvement to the business by establishing rigorous procurement strategies and procedures as appropriate
- Formulate regional supply strategies to ensure complete continuity of supply
- Creation of sustainable competitive advantage through procurement initiatives
- Define clear role sort and procurement guideline on Indirect categories to enforce governance, policy compliance and facilitate execution according to strategic planning. Drive system collaboration and operation efficiency while compliance with company requirement
- Governing and Collaborating with SCS Procurement COE & CBPC for In-direct procurement business decision as appropriate
- Problem solving and determine the right actions to ensure company requirements and strategies are executed across the system
- Maintain high ethical code of conduct and drive for integrity procurement to meet company, professional & business standard
- Drive for continue improvement of our talents, professionalism and business model in the dynamic business market
- Sustainability Scope 3 development, engage & align with suppliers for scientific base target & keep track with the momentum of GHG emission targets
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, major in Accounting, Business, Engineering or related disciplines
- Procurement Professional Training and CIPS qualification is required, such as diploma in Purchasing and Supply Procurement
- Qualification of Chartered Institutes of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is preferred
- At least 10 years in regional business / procurement experience, with exposure in Multi-national beverages company
- Sound understanding in commodity trading market
- Solid people management experience in virtual organizations and multi-cultural teams
- English and Mandarin Proficiency is required, other Asian languages such as Vietnamese and Khmer languages are advantageous
- A strategic thinker with collaborative mindset
- Strong in data interpretation and analytical skills with vision for long term benefits
- Open to frequent business travel and job rotation
- Mobility and readiness for ad hoc problem-solving support under urgent situations
