Manager/Assistant Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 520302) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel applications and/or experience in drafting formal documents would be an advantage. Those with lesser experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.
The appointee will play a versatile role at the frontline in handling the operation of a range of tasks, including undergraduate programme management, assessment, curriculum revisions, quality assurance and enhancement of the programmes as well as provision of student-centred services in teaching and learning.
