That’s why Teddy Bear is more than just a bar.

That’s why this PA to CEO role is more than just an office admin job. In fact there are not many office admin to deal with, see this role as a business partner to the CEO instead.

What is Teddy Bear?

We have launched the 1st and ever matching bar in Hong Kong in the hub of Lan Kwai Fong where we act as a catalyst to ladies and gentlemen from different tables to have fun together. Some say we we are referencing the popular 헌팅바 (hunting bar) culture in Seoul. Yes or no – we have optimized your nightlife experience and built a brand new market positioning between a bar and a club so that visitors can easily “Find Your Next __ Buddies” here. 

As a business Teddy Bear is more than a bar operator, in fact the bar is never our core business but an important asset to build a community of decent, educated, well-groomed and young professionals and thus achieve our business goals as a MaaS (Matching as a Services) business. 

Our current business scopes cover model agency, social media consultancy and event management. Moving forward we are extending our footprint into dating services as well as building an innovative dating app with the breakthrough O2O model that leverages our possession in both online traffic and offline premises.  

Why you cannot say Teddy Bear business model is “none of my business”?

Because this PA job is not about “providing secretarial support”, “arranging meeting calendars”, “liaising with internal and external parties” or the repetitive job descriptions that other recruiters copy and paste and publish on JobsDB when you are looking for Personal Assistant vacancies.  

We are expecting this role to be the left hand of our CEO and provide support in business matters that he deals with. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), it means 360 in business operations ranging from ideas conceptualization, advertising & promotions, relationship management, on-site operation and anything else. 

That means:

• When he realizes the current matching flow in the matching bar is getting boring, you’ll actively research bar gimmicks around the world and analyze its pros and cons. 
• When he sees the need of a new marketing channel, you’ll study the difference in successful content strategies across different social media platforms.
• When he recognizes the community growth is slowing down, you’ll propose new marketing messages that better attract our target audience. 
• When he wants to get something done, you’ll dedicate your mental effort in figuring out the best possible solution, instead of coming back with a simple answer of “no method la” or in worst case, leaving the tasks unattended. 

And

• When he drinks with VIP, you’ll be here – so that you can shut his mouth when he gets drunk. 

A lot more. In short, you cannot say “none of my business”, because literally “all is your business”. See this role as a business partner instead.

How you can stand out from the crowd

• Bachelor degree qualification. 
• We value your commercial sense and execution power rather than secretarial & admin experience. We welcome fresh minds so you are welcome to apply if you have less than 5 years of full-time working experience in the corporate segment. 
• Social media influencers with a follower base of 10,00+ would be an advantage.
• Passion in night life experience is important. 
• You’re a problem solver, not an order taker. 
• While this role is full-time in nature, we welcome current undergraduate students to apply and we would consider splitting a portion of responsibilities to you as your internship.
