Job Description Summary
Responsible for the people side of adoption and change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology globally. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. He/she will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realisation, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Responsible for delivering targeted change management activities that land the “Meiyume Way” process operating model across our offices, manufacturing plants, distribution centres globally. Additionally, responsible for producing high-quality content that engages internal employees that builds awareness and trust on projects being delivered.

The Global Transformation Change Manager in association with business superusers will serve as the primary point of contact for building change management activities that land new ways of working in each business, bringing teams along the journey with positive use cases, strong communications and liaising with local business teams for training design and rollout. This position will have frequent direct exposure to the business directors, business process owners (super users) and subject matter experts across sell (sales/marketing/innovation), buy (sourcing), make (manufacturing), move (supply chain), finance and human resources. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organisational skills.

Key Results / Accountabilities:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Identify, train, and communicate new productivity tools to team members globally in how they can get the most value from them e.g., Microsoft Teams.
  • Create a new joiners training pack on how to use the computer and technology provided from day one to achieve the highest levels of workplace productivity.
  • Explore the use of eLearning across the business in delivering targeted training.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Complete change management assessments.
  • Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
  • Consult and coach project teams.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms that will help sustain customer long term adoption.
  • Assist with business global town hall meetings.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Lead the overall change management effort for run, grow and transformation projects working closely with all members of the technology and business teams defining scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements.
  • Understand the impact of the One ERP vision across the entire organisation and identify ways to support employees with the transformation and mitigate negative impacts of change.
  • Define positive use cases to bring team members along the journey that will help employees to adjust to new ways of working, enabled by the “Meiyume Way” process operating model and new technology.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build employee trust and awareness.
  • Create informative and engaging flyers, posters, videos, newsletters, and communication campaigns including lunch and learn sessions and dedicated team member awareness sessions.
  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all communication materials.
  • Work with different teams to generate new ideas and strategies that result in positive messaging to the employees who will be using the new technologies and processes being deployed.
  • Develop communications materials which support the transformation, including pre and post go-live awareness in multiple markets globally.
  • Jointly evaluate and recommend technology required to support workplace productivity.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings with resources from internal resources and third parties.
  • Meet with project teams to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties such as vendors and advertising agencies.
  • Understand the change impact of different technologies on the business teams.
  • Manage the business relationship to ensure buy-in and advocacy for business change activities with internal business, IT, project teams and third-party consultants to develop a shared understanding.

Qualification & Experience and Competencies:

Education and Experience (MUST HAVE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, change management, organisational behaviour, psychology, and/or relevant field.
  • Creative and willing to drive change including being well-organized and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Able to adopt a flexible working hour arrangement to work with team members located in different time zones.
  • Interested in and able to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Experience creating, designing, and rolling out change programs and user adoption techniques for Microsoft Office 365 across an organisation.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • A strong team and relationship leader builder with emphasis on maintaining a close relationship. with the senior leadership management to effectively facilitate the change management goals and objectives.
  • Excellent active listening skills with being flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Creative and willing to drive change.
  • Well-organized and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Familiar with managing external vendors and able to communicate with users across all levels.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, Putonghua/Mandarin, French, Thai, or Indonesian Bahasa speaking and writing ability is an advantage.

Preferred Criteria (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
  • Change management certification or designation desired.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model is a plus. Prosci certification highly regarded.
  • Video content creation and editing experience highly regarded to engage the business internally.
  • Previous experience implementing ERP, WMS and other system modules highly regarded.
  • You have excellent knowledge of business team systems and processes with 10+ years’ experience.
  • Experience with Project Management tracking tools such as Monday.com, Jira or equivalent.
  • ISO27001 experience highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Gartner’s run, grow and transform model.
  • Demonstrates a strong awareness of the uses of IT within the industry sector and specifically within competitive or associated organisations operating in the same market.
  • Experienced in manufacturing or B2B industry is an absolute advantage.

Economic Dimensions:

  • Create 3-year financial plan for the One ERP project opex and capex costs in relation to change management.
  • Forecast quarterly upcoming spend for the One ERP project vendors and internal costs in relation to change management.
  • Categorise costs for One ERP project against Gartner’s run, grown and transform model in relation to change management activities.
  • Forecast people spend across employees and consultants for change management activities.
