The initial salary that we can offer is quite competitive with a range of HK$14,000 - HK$43,000. If the credibility and experience that the candidate has exceeds the minimum criteria we need, the salary can change and adjusted according to the decisions of our company's HRD agreement.

Our client is a reputable global firm seeking a highly experienced and motivated Financial Controller with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in all-rounded finance functions, including compliance, accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), tax, and audit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big 4, demonstrating a proven track record of success in managing complex financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to inform management decision-making
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management processes to minimize financial risk
  • Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of identified issues
  • Manage the company’s tax planning and compliance efforts, minimizing tax liabilities and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings
  • Act as a strategic business partner, advising the senior management team on financial matters and supporting cross-functional initiatives
  • Continuously improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and support business growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance roles with increasing responsibility, including at least 5 years in a senior financial management position
  • Big 4 trained with a strong background in audit, tax, and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required
  • Proven track record of success managing complex financial operations, including FP&A, financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing finance teams
