The Career Management Centre (CMC) provides comprehensive career services to our Master’s programme students by offering a wide range of activities to enhance students’ professional knowledge and personal skills, and providing individual coaching, career trainings/workshops, recruitment talks, leadership sharing, company visits and our annual career fair.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Career Management Centre, the appointee will be responsible for (a) outreaching to corporates to provide placement networks, job opportunities, recruitment talks, leadership sharing, company visits in the region, especially the Greater Bay Area for our graduate students; (b) providing personalised advice to students on job search strategy, career management guidance, industrial and company insights; (c) promoting CUHK Business School Masters students to recruiters and professional organisations; (d) partnering with colleagues on events planning, marketing and communication; and (e) assisting in ad-hoc career projects and any other duties as assigned. Working at flexible hours and travelling will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English Language requirement set on the website: https://ww.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo (for Executive Officer II); (ii) at least 5 years of post-qualification executive and professional experience, preferably in sales and client management positions; (iv) knowledge of career management/coaching; (v) track record in corporate relations, Greater Bay Area relations and business development; and (vi) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
