We are hiring! Our company is merrily looking for a candidate to fill the position of Administrative Assistant (Half-time) (1-year Contract, renewable). For those of you who live in North Point and its surrounding areas, we need you to then join our company office, Oxfam Hong Kong, and able to under a part time & contract working hours.

As a professional business with expertise in the field we serve, we have specific standards for each candidates interested to join our company. If you have experience in the field of with at least Non-Degree Tertiary, professional, honest, and disciplined, we will enthusiastically hearing from you to join our company.

We offer you the salary rates ranging from HK$14,000 - HK$43,000. The provision pertaining to the average starting initial salary we offer may change if you meet or even beyond the minimum requirement we are looking for in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general reception duties such as handling incoming telephone calls and greeting guests
  • Assist in carrying out daily office administrative duties, including purchase & procurement, staff name card printing, daily mailing & arranging courier and preparing of relevant reports, maintaining the tidiness of reception area and meeting rooms
  • Assist in leave management, e.g. updating leave records and preparing staff leave reports
  • Assist in carrying out recruitment activities and related logistic, such as job advert posting and arranging interviews
  • Assist in conducting orientation and induction programme, updating organizational chart and staff contact list
  • To perform additional tasks and assignments as requested by her/his supervisors.

Requirements: 

  • Tertiary educated, preferably with at least one year of administration or reception work experience
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, with pleasant and courteous telephone manner
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua is highly preferrable
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office
  • Able to work five days a week
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
